Nothing beats all natural homemade Root Beer. Easy and quick to make, plus perfect for Root Beer floats!
1 3/4 Cups Sugar
2 1/4 Cups Water
2 Tablespoons Watkins Rootbeer Concentrate
First thing you need to do is make the syrup. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan; heat and stir until it starts to boil and sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.
Add root beer concetrate and mix thoroughly. That’s it for the syrup. I stored my in a large mason jar and it fit perfect. Now add 1/2 or 1/3 cup (depending on your sweet tooth-I used 1/2 cup) Root Beer syrup to 5 fl oz. of club soda or sparkling water over ice. Voila! Great for Root Beer floats.
